Before you tell me to "search" I already did and read Bizzy's write-up. Just had a few questions about it and didn't want to resurrect another old thread.

Anyways, I just got a set of Speedhut Reverse EL-Glo gauges for my Gen II. After reading Bizzy's write-up, it sounds like you do not have to remove the needles, right? Can I just slip them over the needles? When my brother put his white gauges in his Stang he had to pull off the needles and then reset them by hand afterwards. Also, do you need to remove the stock black gauge overlay before installing the white ones? I would think so. I'll be installing them next week so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

No need to remove the needles or the original overlays. If done carefully there won't be any need to readjust the needles. :thumb:

Thanks! Thats what I was hoping to hear. So the light from the stock gauges won't shine through the white ones?
