Bah, you don't need no stinking gas preservative.

I put my car away last November and took it to the drag strip in May and ran a couple of 15.0s with 6 month old gas. I also ran it at an auto-x in June with the seven month old gas. I had a '98 Suzuki Swift for a winter race car and I had two year old gas in it and it started every time I needed to move it.

I have one of the Harbor Freight portable garages. The cover will last about three years then you need a replacement cover. New cover was under $60 this spring. They work great but if you live in a windy area you need to use some foam pipe insulation over the top metal rib to keep abrasion down. This is where the tarp covering will fail.

Snow just slides off. I did get some 2' pieces of rebar, bend them into hooks and used these to hold down the frame. The hold downs included are pretty lame and meant for asphalt I think.

Also use some good black zip ties to hold the cover to the frame. The included bungie cord things will fail in a couple of years.
