i have a 93 atx and after driving for about ten minutes the cel comes on and when i stop the car while it is in drive the car shakes a little but when the rpms raise the problem seems to go away. I cant seem to pull any codes using the paper clip method the cel just flashes once right when i turn the key then it stays off. I think it might be a bad plug or wire since there is a lot of oil in the plug wells. has anyone ever have this problem with the car shaking/running rough? Also why cant i pull any codes?

It sounds like you either are jumpering the wrong wires, or have a bad connection. I use the shotimes site for the procedure on pulling the codes. (You can also buy a code reader that just plugs in to that connector.)

well my cel light still comes on after about 10 minutes of driving and i cant seem to get any codes. I put a paperclip in the right terminals and still nothing. when the paper clip is in the cel flashes once then nothing with the key on engine off but when it is out and the key is on engine off the light will stay on. Does this mean i have no codes saved?
