Anyone here who is electronics savvy know if the boost pressure is communicated over the CAN bus that is built into the OBD plug? Working on a project that some of you may enjoy but I need to know if boost info is present on the CAN. If anyone knows, what is the message ID and how do I decode it?

Yes, boost pressure is conveyed over the CANbus, specifically the HSCANbus since it is vital to keep this data as uptodate as possible. As far as message ID etc I do not know, but most likely you will need a sniffer to figure it out. Or you can ask the guys over on the Forscan forums.

Could not seem to get the info out of the forscan people, any other ideas? Anyone else know the Message ID and Data decoding info for manifold pressure or boost level? Also, what is the boost pressure at WOT supposed to be for a healthy sho? Mine is sitting at 12.7 PSI (Peak) above atmospheric according to the ECU.
