I have had my show for about 6 months, and the biggest problems that have occurred are that the ac compressor pulley, alternator, and crank shaft pulley have all gone since I've purchased it. I'm wondering if this is a common problem, I haven't heard of this before among sho's, I just want to know if any of you have had belt system problems. Thanx.

What do you mean by the pulleys are gone? I supposed the AC compressor pulley could seize a bearing and not turn, not sure about the altenator pulley if it's the same, but the crankshaft dampner failed on you?? How? Explain what happened to them a little better.

That's true about ford accessories....I'll try to put up some pics of the crankshaft pullie...asap. The bearings and whatnot all went inside the crank pullie, and the ac compressor pullie, and the alternator died. So i'll get those pics up asap.

That's why I found it kinda hard to believe that the crankshaft dampner was "gone".

Steel toothed belt? Belt tension set with an impact wrench? I would like to see this personally.
