Does anyone happen to know the specs or the part number for the SHO PP drain plug?

Went to change mine for the first time a few weeks ago and the drain plug is completely stripped out. Going to need to use an EZ Out on it and want to have a new one ready to go in its place.

Talked to my Ford Rep and they had no clue...

Ford rep said the best they could find was 1/4"-18 NPTF, but unsure if that's the PTU or the diff cover...

HUH? The plug is over .800" in diameter and has a 3/8" square drive. It should be 1/2" NPT based on the .800" plus OD but I haven't confirmed that. Don't know how it could be stripped out. I've had mine out probably 15+ times on both of my cars. And it's a fill plug, not a drain. It has to be sucked out.

EDIT:

Do 2013+ PP's have a drain plug or is it because it's an updated PTU that it has a drain plug?

Pp have drain plugs I've seen some places they fill in the vent tube.
I haven't been able to confirm if there is a fill plug as well as drain couldn't get far enough in till I ran out of time or stripped the bolt on the cat right when I got copper anti seize :(

PP's have both a drain and fill plug. It is easier just to fill through vent.

Well I'll be damned. I've done quite a bit of reading on them and I don't think I've ever seen that mentioned before. Obviously my 2012 PP doesn't have one. I do put 4-6 ounces down the vent tube before I drive 100 yards or so to my shop and then suck what I can from the fill plug. I then fill from the vent tube and let a few ounces of excess run out the full plug before sealing it back up. I've gotten pretty good at accessing the fill plug so adding a drain plug isn't worth it to me personally but it would still be nice. If mine ever craps out I'll either get one with a drain plug or add one before putting it in.

The drain plug on 13+ PPs is a 1/4" hex
