after multiple attempts with compact rt angle drill set-up, cross member near lower rad would not allow reasonable drill bit angle, i punted and removed rad/IC assembly and extraction was a 2 min job with drill and #2 Easy-out. Removing rad is stupid involved - front bumper (fasteners including 2 rivets that i drilled out), crash bar, fan assembly, AC/trans cooler, front turbo pipes...maybe an easier way to do it but crux is access of 2 bolts that sandwich AC/Trans cooler to the rad/IC through the front cross member. hopefully i can remember how it all goes back together, lol - would be a good time to upgrade IC, but gearhead has been "out-of-stock"
