Remember in the cold months your can collects more junk.
I don’t drive the SHO a lot but I do let it warm up before I do.
This is only about 800 miles or so since October ish.

That's a crazy amount of crud. I've had mine on since I've owned it and haven't gotten a third of that probably. And I empty it once every 3 months.

Yeah I’m sure the climate I’m in makes the vapor condense more easily than in Texas.
When I first installed I had a bunch of crap in the intercooler too.
There’s a video on YouTube somewhere of me pumping it out.

I’ve used pennzoil ultra platinum for years now which is supposed to help oil vapors.

Where do you live? What brand oil separator do you have? How many miles on the car and what oil do you run? Thanks!

I believe the local humidity is the biggest contributing factor. I had a 2013 Ecoboost F150 that did not have a catch can. We had a record amount of rain in 2018-19 and one day my truck went into limp mode. I drilled a tiny hole into the intercooler to drain the junk and the issue was gone. I plugged the hole afterwards and never had an issue again after long rainy period ended.

As a new SHO owner, where are these catch cans at or how do I go about locating this?

I put a 40k mile motor in my 120k mile SHO earlier this year, emptied the catch can twice in the first 500 miles but haven't even gotten half a cup in it in the last 2000+ miles, not sure why, I guess that is how much of a difference winter to summer is? I also always let the car warm up to operating temperature before driving anywhere
