Is the ps pump for the G2 ATX SHO the same as the Vulcan Taurus? I called up a parts shop and they gave me a price of $109 for a Fenco rebuilt unit p/n 222762 which is alot cheaper than the other places I called that wanted over twice as much.

They guys with the cheaper pump said it fits all G2 Taurus as well.

The standard Ford Vulcan model can't take the revs even if it did fit. I think that is a Valeo model (like the clutch).

Thanks for the info. Is the ps pulley the same for the ATX and MTX SHO's?

MTX is 4 rib
ATX is 6 rib

Both unique to the SHO, but we always have good used ones. Be careful removing the pulley. Do not pry on it with a screwdriver or it will bend and wobble. I only use my hands to remove the pulley.

So the ps pulley is that easy to get off the ps pump? I thought I needed to rent a puller but if it can be muscled off with hands that would be great.
