I have a 94 mtx and a 95 atx, twice I have bought new coil packs and both times they were keyed wrong....I could modify my car or I could modify the coil pack .... I would perfer a properly keyed new coil pack.....I'm aware of the fact that parts for our cars are becoming hard to find..... But apparently these parts are becoming collectors items...I think I'll start driving my truck more, keep the miles down on the SHO's ... So when someone modifys a coil pack, how do they keep the cable secure?

Sorry to bring this back but what I think he means is that the plug on the coil pack is different from the harness. On a 89 the "key" on the bottom is in the middle, but on my 95 it off to the side.

I would suggest just grinding off that key on the coil pack if you want it to fit.

I just cut out the connector, it now adapts both styles.
