Eagle RS-A's? OMG you poor thing... Those have to be the biggest joke of a tire Goodyear has ever made. I have driven 3 cars with them on and I hated them on every single one of them. Overpriced and overrated by car. My Kumho Ecsta ASX's ran circles around them in every aspect including snow & ice! Plus they lasted almost 10k miles longer than the RS-A's. Why on earth would you put RS-A's on your car?!?!?

Terry, I usually won't post anything negative on what people do to their cars, but the RS-As and the F1 Goodyears got some pretty bad reviews on wet pavement. That was the main reason why I went with 20" wheels, I wanted the Michelins.

well, at about 110 a tire for a 20", i didn't think they were way overpriced. i just wanted something better than the f1's in the rain and snow and to save wear on the f1's at $300 a pop.

as far as f1's, i've ran them with very good success on my lightnings, shelby's corvettes and they have always performed very good.

my cam'd ls3 vette auto would rip off mid to upper 11's and not lose a bit of traction above 50-60 degrees, once the temps start dropping though, they are crap.

i think the rsa's will do fine for the winter months driving back and forth to work. i don't plan on any racing over the next 3 months and all 4 barely cost more than 1 f1

RSAs are just OEM-type tires, anyway (SHOs, Pontiac GP and GTPs, etc). Just adequate, IMO, when I had them on my '99 SHO. Get hard & noisy about halfway down, also. MFRs liked them because they were Z-rated a/s tires, and were quite light.

Which F-1s? Buddy got the F-1 (G2? GS2? something like that) put on his G35. They were OEM on the Solstice, IIRC. He likes them a lot in all (non-winter) conditions.

Well if you got the RS/A's for only $110 I'd say you got a good deal since usually the RS/A's are usually so overpriced. There are several options in that size that would be better for what you are wanting in a tire, but you would be paying $60-$90 per tire more.

and i'll never see halfway down on the tires, i've had my car for 3 months and it has 3500 miles on it, over the winter i'll see maybe 3-4k miles at the most

if i have the car for 4 years, which is not likely, i'd be fine with these

beefcake,
Just wanted to say that your car is coming along great, and it is an inspiration to most of us. Performs badass and looks badass, how could you go wrong...
Oh, and if you want to help a brother out you could send me your stock powder coated wheels and I could send you my mint stock 20's with the Goodyear F1 supercar tires with only 500 miles on them. See this is my daily driver and I can't put the car up for any length of time to get the wheels powder coated.. Just an idea since you bought aftermarket wheels already..;)
