Got the motor in, went a little too easy like really easy.

Started building the motor mounts, will have that finished on Sunday. After that I install the new fuel pump and filter. Just a few more things then off to get the electronics done.

Moving along fast at this point.

Better put the exhaust manifolds in before you design the engine mounts. Saves you an exhausting amount of work later.

Looking good James. Better be carefull with that rhino tranny; the SHO puts a lot of torque to the mainshaft. Call me if you need that power steering fitting.

I spoke to Lee, he has the tranny from the other buyer and will be taking it over to Chris. However as Chris is busy it may be late June before I see it completed.

For now its just to get it running and be able to drive it. 091 is not stock and has been beefed but to what extent I dont know.

I just need to keep my foot out of it, yeah right

No idea on weight but much more then Toms car.

As for the filter, its what was on it when it was pulled from the wrecked SHO, soon to be changed.

aaaaaaahahahahaha, thats great. :laugh_ti: Filter signed up front...yes I do believe we can do the entire callouts from start to finish doing an oil change from upper to lower baby. I actually didn't know the filter number, only 1 sho has ever come in and we turned it away from the ac service because of the R-12. I really need to get the max recharged...

I don't have anymore of those dust covers for you. I will find that waterjet machinist' phone number and get it to you. You'll need a sheet of aluminum that is .025 inches thick.

As an alternative, I have a spare motor or two over here if you want to just make your own. It's not like anyone is going to get close enough to the back of your buggy to see it. Find some aluminum and bring it Saturday.
