problems starting

Almost everytime I to start my car now I have this problem. The car will crank, and crank, and crank but not start. Occasionally it will sputter a couple times and then if I'm lucky it will start. Sometimes when I leave the car overnight the battery will be drained in the morning and ill have to get a jump start. And even then it takes a few times to get it to start. Any ideas?

please pull the codes and let us know what they are.

the draining battery is most likely due to a current leak somewhere. since there are literally hundreds of possible places for this to occur, you will need to do some detective work to find it.

one approach is to pull out a certain fuse every night until the drain happens again. then that circuit will be ruled out as the problem. then, pull out another fuse every night until the drain happens again, etc. etc.

Also I do get a cel sonetimes, but its intermittent and usually only when I've been driving.for a while it will pop on, then off, then on, then off etc...
