The last couple of days my(engine)rev-tach level climbs "like i have my foot on the pedal" but it in park?

Has anybody seen this? Usually after i shut the car off and turn it back on the problem is gone?

I believe that's a problem with the throttle position sensor.

Have a look at v8sho.com. I think it's covered there. There should also be a TSB on that one.

Is just the tach moving or is the engine actually revving up?

Crazy tach indications can also signal low voltage (bad alternator, shorted wiring etc).

Otherwise it is indeed probably the TPS as IAN said.

Happened in mine for about a week.

I unplugged the TPS, sprayed it out w/ electrical cleaner, plugged it back in and haven't had a problem since.

For more info, look

Here,
here
and here.

If you have any maint. concerns, check out V8SHO.com, they have had documentation on anything I've ever had happen to my car.

No, it's not something that is near what they would have been working on and moreso, it's probably not anything that has been physically "messed-up".

The inherent problem that seems to have occurred with a LOT of GenIII's is what seems to be a poor electrical connection and/or signal in the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor).
Try cleaning with the electrical contact cleaner and hopefully you'll be OK.
