ANyone know what would cause my cause to sometimes lose power when pushing the throttle down , like it starts puttering and then leeting of and holding the accelerator a little down will then let it reagain? Its usually in the morning or when I havnt drove the car a while but sometimes it happens even when the cars already warmed up.

i had almost the same thing a while back and it ended up being the tps. although i have noticed over the last couple of nights that it kinda feels like its dumping a little to much gas on a heavy pedal and clears out with lite pedal.it may very well be the same issue as you

check the TPS (throttle positioning sensor)...sometimes just needs cleaned out. Also you should check to see if your MAF (mass air flow sensor) is dirty.

Do you clean the body of the MAF or just the actual sensor?

You can get MAF cleaner at any good parts store . That's what you should use thoose sensors are touchy .
