Problem w/ Brake Lights

when i slow down the lights are on but when stoped w/ my foot on the brake petal the lights are off. what should i do

There is a sensor on your brake pedal and when it starts to fail, you'll experience this type of problem.

Try to move the sensor up or down while braking, (while parked) and see if you get anything different.

It's a cheap replacement part from the dealer.
