Hey guys,

I just got done finishing my intake cleaning and got everything back together. thumb I took my car out for the first drive and I noticed the idle was a little shakey and the car was starting to overheat (I concider everything half way up the temp guage as overheating). Only to find I forgot to connect a coolant hose back up to the throttle body. I get that back on and it had leaked coolant on the tranny and whatnot, so then took it for another drive after adding some water. Everything was running cool again ( back at the lower normal coolant range) but I had a power loss in which was affecting lower rpm (1,000-2,000)accelerating obviously and the upper rpms weren't as noticable, but still a slight power loss at WOT. Anywho.. just today after work I decided to clean the coil pack off and the wires didn't look wet but they very well could have the day before. But, I did see oil in plug well #6 which came up 1/4 on my socket! It wasn't this bad when replacing the plugs a few weeks ago when I did my first front 60k. Cleaned that out, checked the other wells in front..I drove it after that and it seemed better up until it stalled while driving and would not start after that. rant 60k included Cam sensor, Cam seals, Crank sensor, Front main bearing seal, and all new belts.

My guess would be something not put back when you replaced the intake. Maybe a vacuum line or grounding point not in place. BTW did you replace the spark plug wires? Could be causing problems.

That's ok. Took apart my airbox to clean it all out...took the headlight out to clean the hose thingy in the fender...

and now I have one leftover mystery bolt! oh

Haven't seen any loss of power or heard any rattling yet.

I have decided that I must label everything and write down what I did to pull it apart, step by step. Otherwise, things are forgotten. (like the time I forgot to plug my MAF back in and the car ran funny with the CE light on for a whole day!) rofl
