hey guys, im about to put my clutch back together and i lost 2 of my pressure plate bolts, :madflame: anyways, i think an 8 grade bolt i can get at the hardware store should work, what do you guys think? Another question while im here, Advacned auto just replaced my broken clutch with another and they said it would be an AC delco however, the new clutch says valeo on it and so does the stock clutch out of mine. The part numbers on the clutch match as well, so im assuming its a stock clutch?? well, let me know what you guys think.

The bolt is Metric, M8-1.25, can't recall the length, but its probably around 30mm.

Property Class 8.8 or 10.9 for Metric. This is a mission-critical bolt, if it backs out or breaks, you're hosed. Get a 10.9, use a lockwasher under the head and Loctite on the threads. I have a drawer full of these bolts, if you're not in a hurry, PM me and I'll send you some.

Valeo is the only manufacturer of the SHO's red-headed stepchild clutch, so pretty much no matter where you get a SHO clutch, they come from Valeo. Last I saw any SHO Valeo discs, they were made in China.

I'm not a big fan of the made in China discs. After seeing the stock made in China discs fail on a couple of cars right of the bat, I've got away from them real quick and took my brand new Valeo disc out of my SHO and replaced it with a 9-puck fibertuff disc. And this has been my suggestion to everyone that's asked me about what type of disc to install. Stock disc was ok before I started seeing a couple failures with them, but the 9-puck fibertuff disc is such a great alternative to a stock disc. You got such great grab with the disc and the pedal feel is amazing.
