1..got the pressure line off
2. got down to the bolt (bottom at the back of the pump)
3. got a wrench on it,

the bad...the damn 12mm bolt dosent want to move and i cant get a good angle on it to make it budge
and there isnt enough space for a ratchet
im just about ready to take the whole damn engine out!

How do you get the pulley nut loose with the belt already off?

Strap wrench to hold the pulley tight as you untorque the bolt:

Whatever you do, don't sick anything through one of the 4 holes of the pulley itself to "hold" the pulley still (like a wratchet/extension) then torque it loose. Some genius mechanic did that to my current SHO (95 ATX) and the pulley now wobbles because of it.

In fact, I just received my replacement PS pulley the other day. I got it from ebay.

Just unplug it and remove the two 5.5mm bolts and it will come off. Repeat to install. It is nonadjustable, so you won't screw anything up.

Doug

Just be careful not to oventighten the bolts on reinstall...they are small, and going into aluminum. (Just something I've heard, not that I would do something dumb like strip a hole out :bonk:).
