Ok, heres the story (again) I had a stuck thermostat so the car was running like crap (92 MTX), i replaced this thermostat along with spark plugs. The car than ran great for like 2 days. Then i had lost power again, the car ran but was very weak. I found that my cat had broken up and was clogged. I then replaced the stock y-pipe and cats with ones from SHo-shop, the car now runs better, but still isnt right. If i romp on it, the car doesnt seem to pick up like it should, if i ease the throttle right, it seems to throw me back and is a bit jerky/hesitant. Im not sure where to go with my diagnosis now. Any suggestions would be helpful. Oh and one question i have is: WOuld it be necessary to reset my computer since i changed y-pipe with a higher flowing one? Thanks for the help once again!

Cleaning the MAF wouldn't hurt. You could always check the codes as well. I would definately reset the computer (see sticky) and verify operation of the secondaries.

check your intake hose after the MAF

Hi, check your intake hose after the MAF. sometimes it will split/rip where it bends to go into the throttle body. Sometimes it's hard to see the split with out taking the hose off,so inspect it carefully. that same thing happened to me and thats what it was. Mine tore because of engine freeplay up and down due to bad motor mounts.Peace Out Homie!!
