The seat had developed difficulty moving forward unless I used me feet to pull it. So I lubricated what I could reach and now it moves forward easier but very roughly and it feels like it's bouncing on the tracks. It doesn't do it when sliding backwards though.

Any advice on what this could be? I used standard grease on the tracks but as I said before, I couldn't reach a lot especially with the console in the way. Should I take the seat out or is there an easier way to lubricate the whole track system with it still bolted in? And what is the consensus on the type of lubricant to use?

Thanks.

You probably need to run a wire brush over the threads and clean them off. Then use a light **** occasionally.
