Do you guys know the antenna harness than plugs into the gen II radio is the same harness that plugs into the power antenna switch from a gen I?

Back in Michigan ... again.
Moved to gen I/II electronics & audio thumb

And yes, I do believe it's the same. Can't say for 100% on it, but working on my 89 & 91 parts car and then working on the 95 I believe they were the same. But I don't have the two side by side to compare so don't quote me just yet :D

When I installed the aftermarket radio into my 92, I didn't notice any antenna harness. I hooked used the conversion plugs and had no problems. The blue wire on the head unit properly raises and lowers the antenna on startup/shutdown. shrug

Ahhh yes, audio and electronics, sorry :)

It's not a harness really, just a plug like you said. My new headunit can control the antenna as well, but I want to be able to listen to CDs and not have the antenna go up (lots of wind noise with the sunroof open), and that I can have it up in the winter is water got into the motor and freeze up.
