Most of the time our new members come to this forum because they have a problem with their car. Here are a few guidelines that will help you find the answers that will help you fix your problems.
1. Search for information in the appropriate forum. There is a wealth of information to be found. You may not find the answer in only one thread, but several may reveal a complete answer. Often times the search function will get you more immediate answers than posting a new topic and waiting for answers.
To perform a search, use the "Search" link right next to "My profile" and the "Directory" links above, or click the following link:

2. If you don't find the answers you're looking for, or none of the answers match your exact problem or if you're unsure then please feel free to post a new topic. Or, reply to a topic where it has been explained in the past.
3. Be as descriptive as possible of your current problem. Post headers that simply say "HELP" often get overlooked.
4. Post your question in the appropriate forum. For example, if you're having a problem with a broken cam cover bolt on a Gen 1 or 2 SHO, then post in the Generation 1 & 2 troubleshooting section for Engine and driveline.
5. If all else fails, PM a mod or an admin. We are here to help if we can, that's our main goal and the main goal of this forum.
