I think the black that I had on the valve covers and on other pieces made the intake stand-out or what I was shooting for was the underhood as a whole standout than rather just the intake.

Switching would mean you'd need to get the valve covers white which would be a pain to keep clean, and the white valve covers would get lost to the eye as it woulsd blend in too much with the fenderwells.

That's pretty cool, is that work just as good or better than the stock set-up that youve noticed? I know the stock intake is hard to beat but I would think that it is still truly a cold air intake because of the box.... you should make me one of those puppies.

What the heck IS that car? Anyone know more about it? The hubcap says "4WS". Is that four wheel steering? I always love SHO swaps, especially into odd cars.

Late 90s Mazda 626 Turbo with 4 wheel steering. Fun little car with the 2.2 turbo...disturbingly quick with the stock SHO motor squashed in it.

Thought only hondas made that 4WS thing with their prelude.

Its every mechanic's nightmare.

Nissan has had 4 wheel steering on a few cars back in the 90's like the 300zx and 240sx. They called it HICAS and Super-HICAS. It was not very well liked by owners do to instability at highspeeds.
