Possible engine change???

After having another SHOer over it was mentioned that it looked like I have an intake off of a 95 on my 93. And after thinking somemore when I got the car the oil filler cap on it was the type with just the picture PRINTED on it. Where as the olderones are the ones with the picture more braille-ish. Inother words my 93 had a smooth surface one and the older ones had a rough surface one.

Does anyone know when the oil filler cap design was changed or is there anyway I can tell if it's been changed?

It's quite easy to swap an oil filler cap without swapping the engine.

lol, scott your too funny. hehe i've seen the raised letter oil filter on an 89 but can't remember if they were on newer ones. your engine sound stock to me. what is the difference between a 93 and 95 intake?! only one i ever knew where different were MTX and ATX. shrug

Well on ething that's putting me off on thinkin it's got a different engine is the IAC. The guy I bought it from was trying to solve the stalling problem it had and went to change the IAC but got the wrong one. Did this change mid way through production?

Jay not to sound like an ass but did you take the IAC from another ATX intake? BTW how's the trans. working out for you? I'll try to stop by your place this weekend.
