Went out last night for dinner and when leaving had a hard time starting my car. After several attempts it did finally so I wasn't stranded. While trying to start it seemed like it wasn't turning over quick enough :( and then seemed to try to backfire but didn't. The Tach never did go above about 200 rpm's from the time it started till I got home(straight home). Today, I went out and it started right up with the tach working again and easy start. Any suggestions?

Slow crank speed would seem to indicate electrical problems. Either Battery, starter, solenoid, or cables.

Slow cranking speed does not cause backfires. If you really heard backfires, the cylinder identification (CID) sensor is the most likely cause. It is the Wells F134 from AutoZone or AutoZone.com for $29.99.
