I recently did the brakes on my SHO. That was a huge undertaking for me. I am not an A+ mechanic by any means. My rears were so far extended, it was beyond repair. So I purchased new rotors and calipers for the rear. The fron calipers and rotors were still in decent shape, so I just bought pads for the front. I bled the system, everything seemed fine. Well, now I am experiencing a squeaking sound. As far as I can tell, it comes from the front wheels. When I start driving, everything seems fine for about 10-15 minutes. Then it souns like a tricycle that needs oiling. Then after about 30 minutes it goes away, then the abs light comes on. Has anyone seen this problem? Right now I am plugging leaks so to speak. Just replacing parts as they go out. Would this be an ABS pump problem? Or an ABS computer problem?

I don't really have enough information  , so this is a stab in the dark. It could be brake pad squeak, but that does not explain the ABS light.

The ABS light comes on when the ABS is not working. Could one of the ABS sensors (the wire that goes down and senses the ABS ring on each wheel) be rubbing or loose? That would explain the squeak and if it were not in the right place, it would give you and ABS fault? Check to make sure it is seated properly in the knuckle and is sequrely fastened and not cracked.

Just a guess.
