I bought my 91 plus back in December in Hawaii. From day one the AC never blew cold. I was in the habit of having ice cold AC with all my other cars so every time I got into the 91 the first thing I did was turn the AC on. Well because it never blew cold I eventually learned not to turn it on anymore. In Hawaii you really dont need AC anyway, just rolldown the windows and you're fine. So I had the car shipped to San Diego when I moved back to the states a few weeks ago. I had been away from her for about 3 weeks up until I picked her up at the shipping yard. I get into the car and the first thing I do is turn the AC on. This time for some reason it immediatly starts blowing very, very cold! I was on the interstate for about 2 hours and I actually had to turn it down because it getting too cold for me. I stopped for lunch and when I got back in and started her back up, all of a sudden it was back the was it used to be and blowing hot air. I played with it the whole way to Vegas and never did get it working again. The next day, I get in the car and on the first try I got ice cold AC. Turn the car off and and it goes back hot. Thats the way its been for the last 2 weeks up until today. Today, all of a sudden it decided to work all day long. Every time i got in and started the car today the AC worked perfect!
Have any of you guys ever heard of something like this? I've never ever had a car where the AC just started working out of nowhere.
