Hi, I'm new to the forum and new to SHOs in general in terms of working on them. I've always been a big fan of them and now that I finally have a chance to own one (me and three buddies pitched in on one) I joined the forum to learn a little more. I used to own two 3.8L sables and so I have a load of spare parts for my SHO. Out of boredom today I ported out the 3.8L maf, the maf looked like a real bottleneck problem for the SHO in terms of getting air into the engine and I figured it probably rendered the CAI that came with the car virtually useless.
Anyways I'm here to say I know nothing and have been lightly surfing around seeing what problems others are running into. Does anyone think this (pictures below) will assist any future mods in picking up a couple horses? If not, no biggie, it just cost me a couple hours of time that I would have spent doing something equally unimportant.
