73mm MAF

I’m going to install a 73mm C&L MAF from a Fox Body. I’m going swap out the sensor and retain the stock sensor in the larger body. Can I expect any problems. If so. What codes might it throw.

Probably run lean without a tune. Running lean can be bad.

Just to follow up on the c&l 73mm experiment. I thought I’d start out with the 73mm body and stock sensor from my SHO. Ran like ****. Lack of power, and poor throttle response. Felt like the fuel pump was bad.
Switched out the sensor from the fox body the C&L MAF came with which o was told was running 24lb injectors on the 5.0. It ran way better but not great. Still would drop on its face when you floor it. Swapped back the stock MAF and sensor. And it runs best there. Great throttle response and power through power band. So anyway. I had to see for myself. SHO no like the MAF swap.
