So... I just checked, my gas mileage, and i got about 17 miles to the gallon, this is with driving like a grandma (never above 4k), and mostly highway driving... I have new O2 sensors (less than 1 year) and new plugs and wires (2 months ago)

i dont have a CEL, but havent checked codes since i noticed the poor gas mileage issue. The last time was about 2 weeks ago when i had no codes at all in the KOEO test

I also notice a bit of a hesitation at about 3k when driving that seems to just cut out and come back, sometimes i notice it othertimes not, its really hard to notice too....

So, im thinking a TPS sensor could cause this... does anyone else have ideas... Tomorrow is probably work-day for the SHO, since im replacing the clutch cable, i figure i should look at some other things too...

Dan, is it running hotter than normal? The catalytic converters will cause hotter running temps, reduced gas mileage, hestitation (which is first noticed at high rpms and/or under a load), O2 sensor faults and other exhaust related problems.

you know what, i just thought of this today as well... it appears that im actually getting somewhere around 22 mpg, which actually isn't too bad, but it is to me, since ive gotten 27 MPG with some "spirited" driving... although it doesnt seem to have the "snap" that other MTX SHOs ive driven have, or mine used to have for that matter... probably because of that stupid stock Y-pipe... :p

I really just need to let her breathe, and get a new Y-pipe!
