Plz Help

Hello,
My car just died. Had been smelling plastic burning. I turned it off and it wouldnt start. It tried to turn over but with no luck. Smoke came from up front towards the fans. I thought the smoke came from the box under the intructions on drivers side front. I was told it was a relay modual. I'm not 100 percent sure if that would be causing this issue. If anyone has had this experience please help. I had no tools with me so i could not remove the item to have it tested. If some one can help me out.

the box you are referring to is the body control module.....10 bucks at any junk yard. I had to replace mine as well, it did not smoke, but one day it would not start at all and I replaced this box and it was fine.

What all does this module effect?
