Hey guys,
its been a long time since i have posted, but i visit daily. Here is my problem:

I have a 93 ATX and i recently noticed that a few of my plug boots were out. They came out on there own. You know how you have to push them in to get them kinda locked? well mine wereout a little bit and i had to push them back in. What could be causing this? It has happened more than once and i do notice the power difference when they are out.
Thanks

Lightly squeeze the ends with a pair of pliers. It will make the "click" a bit tighter.

What brand of plugs and wires are you using? That can make a big difference. I'll assume that you are using the Motorcraft plugs and wires. I have installed a set of the Motorcraft WRE-4081 wires on an ATX SHO before and one of the wires refused to stay seated. It would pop up about 1/8" to 3/16". There must have been some fabrication inaccuracies to cause this condition. It is probably due to the metal insert in the boot that fits over the plug tip. Like the other post said, try tightening the clip so it can hold on stronger.
