I have wanted a sho for a long time, well i finally bought one. But thats where i think i made the mistake. It is a 93 white atx with the white slicer wheels and of course its loaded. But it has 170000 on the clock. It drives fine except for it dies every once in a while, the engine light is on half of the time, its the egr valve that is bad. Not sure if that would cause it to die or not. Also once it is warm if you get into the gas a bit the 1-2 shift is pretty hard. The body of the car is perfect except for some chips on the front bumper. Does anyone have any advice??????

Yeah, first off, next time you make a post, but more info into the title. You'll get better results.

2nd, always replace what you know is broken. If the EGR is bad, fix it.

If the check engine light is on, or even if it's not but you're having engine problems, run your codes. There's a guide to it on SHOPP. Post the codes, you'll get much better results.
