I got ginger all back together and everything is working...except the turn signals...no clicking no nothing. The other items on that circuit, brake lights cruise control work, so it cant be the underdash fuse... Could there be dust and dirt in the stalk so that it isn't making contact or how about the little relay that goes tick tock tick tock, if that failed would I get these symptoms>> Again everything is working except the turn signals... I didn't do anything in the column or other electrical other than taking an aftermarket remote door lock set up out of the car. They had spliced it into the left side floor wiring kinda under the parking brake pedal. The cars power door lock doesn't work at all right now, and the seller said that the system never worked right...I'm sure they did something wrong on the install...What I did was remove all the splicing they did and I reconnected the same color wires that had been spliced into. They did take a line off the column I remember now that was used as their hot line, I just taped it up and put it up under the dash. Back to the door switch, they had spliced into two wires under the brake pedal-a pink with yellow line and a pink with...black line I think, Anyway the pink with black seems all connected but the other line pink with yellow...I may have those reversed in my mind...pulled right out of the wiring harness, like out of the door hinge pas through for all the wires. When I ground that wire, I do get the unlocking function to work on the door switch but still not the lock, I suspect there is another broken wire in the group that goes out to the drivers door, but that shouldn't effect the turn signals I'm thinking..
Fred?? Anyone had this experience and can offer idea of how to track down this one...thanks@@@

I went in just now and cleaned all the fuses, no change..I checked the wiring more carefully under the steering column where they had spliced in and there's nothing unusual, no broken, cut or disconnected wires. They just peeled back the plastic and spliced into one yellow and one other wire, I checked the wires and re-taped them, They are solid, never cut or changed.
Can someone tell me where the relay is that clicks when you turn on the signals or give me any other places to look>>?

If you pop out the autolamp/dimmer panel the turn signal flasher is behind there. I would start from there by checking power going into it.

That's awesome and I'm glad you got it figured out. Electrical problems seem to plague these cars.
