Please help with trans

I was wondering if a 1990 sho came with an automatic trans. Ive been told they didnt by the salvages. The one i bought is supposed to be a 1990 with an auto. Also if anyone has one to get rid of I would be interested.

No sir automatics were introduced in 1993.

Thank you... I also have a 1992 with a 5spd..How hard would it be to put the 5 spd in the one with the automatic...

If it's a 1990 with an automatic it's not a SHO. I wouldn't bother putting a manual in that.

Search around this site, there are several threads about converting ATX SHOs to MTX.

putting a MTX in a 3.8 car would haul ass. I have been toying with the ides for a potent daily driver/ BURNOUT MACHINE

It would be a V6 Mustang, Except worse because it's Front Wheel Drive.

the only difference would be a drastic gear ratio difference which would make it do lots of burnouts and we all know that burnouts are the true measure of awesomeness.
