Please help guys, in know someone out there can! The SHO is not starting!!!. Okay I'll try to give as much info as I can. Sunday night the SHO wouldn't turn over on the first turn of they key but on the second try it would start right up. Monday morning it did the same thing except it didn't wrok on the second, third or eem fourth time. Finally it did. ZI get half way to school and she just shut down on me. So I coast to the side of the road and let her rela a minute. She starts up. I go to get oil changed and she sarts fine. Then I go home and wait until my second class. is time shewont start up. She just cranks cranks but won't turn over. So I pop the hood and take a look at the plugs. Upon puling the front left out i notice that there i oil on the bottom of the spark plug wire, the middle had even more on it and the right one only had a trace. So i gethe car towed to a local gas station and said that the back three are bad too. They fix that and she still wont start. I had most of the 60k done EXCEPT for the CPS and the valve lash. I'm thinking that it is the cps. Please anyone with any ideas options anything at all would be more than apperciated. Dont have a car for 3 days now andcan't afford to rent something and cant afford to keep missing work. I work in jersey. Its a 93 mtx with 80k.please help

If the 60K was done recently, I would take it back to whomever did it and have them fix the leaking spark plug well gaskets. That is definately not good on your engine. Also pull the codes from the computer and see what comes up.

That definitely sounds like a bad crank position sensor. Textbook symptom of CPS failure is abrupt shutdown, only to start up fine moments later.
