Please HELP Motor Mount broke i think.

ok when i started my car this morning it grinded wich it never does. and then i checked it and the motor was rocking when i did the throttle. and when i was backing up it made this weird clicking noise???? Please Help should i just go out and have the ford dealership put new front and rear motor mounts on? b/c i dont know how to do motor mounts at all.

If you take your SHO to the dealer for motormounts your going to be looking at over $1000.00 for the job. I believe there's a write up on the Shotimes.com site about snaking them out&in without dropping the subframe. Also check Shopheonixproject.com for similar with pictures.

Its really more frustrating and time consuming than it is hard. I did my front and rear (never having changed a MM in my life) with mostly basic tools. The writeup helped very much. Just take your time getting the old ones out and the new ones in.

ok i will try......

iam looking at fordperformancespecilists reinforced front and rear motor mounts at $200 each:oogle:

plus i just broke my ankel so its going to be a little more harder for me.....ill have to see if my step dad could help me with them.

also i have to put new struts and intrax springs in......so my car will have to be sitting for quite some time:frown: lol

anyone want to come help me? LOL
