I have a 91 MTX Sho with 200K. I spun a rod bearing. I am looking for some NEW rod bearings and main bearings. If you know of a company that sells them for a good price PLEASE let me know. Ford cannot order them.

The bearings people use for replacement are clevite. Haven't bought any yet so no more specific info here. Use the search function in this section for bearings and I bet you will find the part #'s and maybe a retailer too.

I'm sure most places are gonna carry only stock bearings, right? Since I spun that one that place on the crankshaft will have to be re-ground. Where can I try to get 1 oversize.

Napa has only the mains for $84.

Ira House,
You can't just replace the spun bearing with an oversize one. Usually the action of spinning cause so much damage to the crank journal that you have to have the crank removed from the engine, all of it's journals reground to a specific size smaller. The sizes usually go in steps of 1/4 millimeter and marked on the bearing as .25 or .50.

As someone earlier posted, it would be better if you just got a complete running engine from a salvage yard. I enjoy re-building motors but I never come out ahead on it. Just my 1/50th of a Dollar.
