So I just sold the last set of 1/2" aluminum intake spacers. Would any of you guys that are putting the SHO engine in the north/south direction be interested in some 1/2" spacers machined out of phenolic high temp plastic? I can get them machined and shipped for about 178.00 to 185.00 per set of six. This is the same phenolic that I had the 1/8" insulating spacers made out of only this 1/2" sheet is pre-ground to +/- .005" of flatness, making it better suited for mating to the machined surfaces on the heads and intake.

So like $40 shipped for a set is a good estimate? If these would be used to rotate the intake 180 degrees I'd be interested.

Uh, no. Please re-read the first post. Haven't had much interest shown so I will not be pursuing it.

Do you think with these it would reduce heat soak on the intake manifold?

Raw materials have been ordered and will arrive at the machine shop within two weeks. I won't know when they will be in the line-up until the raw stock actually arrives. The shop is running 24 hrs a day on stuff they can't talk about so I don't know how long these will take. I am having 1/8" and 1/2" sets made up and according to the machine operator they cannot machine both sizes at the same time so I can't save any bucks there.

I'll keep everybody informed. DO NOT Send any money right now. I will post pics when they are finished and set off a real for sale ad at that time.
