Hey there. New to the whole posting bit on here but not until recently have I had a question worth asking. I have a green 91+ that has been a big pain in the ass since the day I got it. In the constant repair jobs alone I've spent a small fortune (by my standards at least), but I still love the beast. Unfortunately fate has struck me at a very inconvenient time. It seems like my clutch has bit the big one. I cant get it into any gear whatsoever except reverse, with some gear grinding. The car will go into gear smoothly while shut off, but as soon as the engine comes on it'll take off on it's own not taking into regard whether or not I have the pedal depressed. So yeah, technically I can drive it if I keep on shutting it off everytime prior to changing gears, but that's not a very realistic option. Anyway, my question is, with the stated symptons, is it most definitely the clutch? Budget's tight and there's no way I can afford to dish out the $900+ Im being asked by various garages to replace it so by mere necessity, I have to do this one myself, it'll definitely be a learning experience.
