Has anyone installed a peddal commander on their 17 3.5 eco boost?
I have one on my 17 ram and its amazing how the response has changed. Gained 1 sec from 0-60

I don't see how this product could make the car 1 second faster to 60. Not even the Livernois Stage 4 upgrade does that.

OP stated he acquired that on his Dodge truck. So an entirely different platform. Not applicable to our EB power plants.

Most cooments I've seen from the few that have foolishly purchased them, is that they are gimmicky.

Don't bother. Get a solid tune from a reputable tuner and be done with it.

Its all about not voiding your warranty and yes it will be different on certain applications. Dont call it a gimmic if ya nothing about it. I yet have to read a bad review on it.

I've heard 1st hand of not so stellar reviews about it, and will report that accordingly. As see I fit. Who are you to tell me what to say, or not? The internet police? Yea ok.

What applies to your Dodge, doesn't apply to the EB. Plain and simple. They're a gimmick.

That device, can void a warranty just as much as any other aftermarket mod. All entirely up to your service provider. Some don't give a hoot, and some care about even simple things such as a CAI, or not following maintenance protocols to a T, in order to wiggle out from warranty claims.

So how about this, don't go making claims that "it's all about not voiding your warranty" when it easily can, for the aforementioned reasons. Noob.

Put it in your EB, and do a before install run, and post install run, and post videos. I highly doubt you'll get a 1 sec improvement from such a gimmick.

I am not trying to be disrespectful to anyone so take this for what its worth, Your way out of line on this one, there is probably NO ONE on this Forum who knows more about the SHO then bpd1151 except for maybe one of the tuners. If you take some time an read through the Forum this topic has been covered in great detail when LMS came out with there own version an some people may have a use for this but its really not going to improve your performance. I have no reason to doubt it improved the performance on your RAM but that is a whole different animal, if you want one get one, if it improves your performance that would be great but bpd1151 always has a well informed opinion.

Not trying to cause s**t here just wanted to know if anyone has used it on their SHO. Yeah most likely won't make a difference on the EB but on most vehicles where there is lag at the beginning this thing takes that all away and lets the engine do what its made for. It doesn't void warranty cuz it does nothing to change the fuel or air intake or any other stuff that has to do with timing and all, like the tuners do. This just plugs into your gas pedal harness to override the lag.
Sorry if I sounded confrontational, texting does that some times.:thumb:

Yea, it was borderline persnickety, but the apology is appreciated. So as Charlie says, it's all good.

The people I know that have used it, stated their throttle response was improved, sure. However, it never once lived up to the performance gains claimed. So you're thinly veiled cross reference of your own experiences with your Dodge, and being a full second faster, I am completely confident would not transcend over into/onto the SHO platform. I mean $h!t, even running 100% Methanol, most users, including myself, see an average of .5-.6 faster in the 1/4. So to haphazardly toss out there this device will provide users with full second gains is quite far fetched.

In a general sense, the SHO platform has proven repeatedly, to not adapt to the norms of the traditional performance paradigms. Particularly within the confines of after market parts, etc.

BTW Giulio, I've never been terribly brand loyal. In fact, my previous project car was a heavily modded '07 Charger R/T that saw many platform 1st's, and was also featured on TV, in magazines, and also garnered many awards. Much like the SHO.

But I am careful to not parlay the two projects. There are differences. You will learn them in due time. Thanks for the self check on your part. Happy New Year.
