Really? Not enough room for the numbers?

I used to shoot outdoors when I was a youngster and lived in PA, but that was at a free outdoor range and in some wooded areas on private land set up for that purpose, snow or no snow. I don't mind indoors to shoot most hand guns. As for memberships blah!

We're trying for Constitutional Carry in Michigan, but with the 3 Stooges (Dems) ruining the state now, it won't happen. I would still have my CPL, as I travel out of state frequently. We do have Constitutional Open Carry, though. Which makes for some interesting situations: Even with my CPL I can't carry Concealed into a school, but I can Open Carry into a school!

I personally don't care for indoor ranges. But yeah, with a group, plus new Shooters, outdoor ranges are just easier. Plus, you aren't on the clock. Grinds me to pay to load mags with an hourly rate!

I carried an XDS for awhile. I have since switched over to a Springfield Hellcat. Learning how to train with an optic was interesting since I was always using iron sights. Now I pick up a sidearm without an optic and first thing I think is "What peasant own this!?" lol.

Buddy and I both got XDS45s when they came out. Both of us sold them, for niggling failure issues. Plus, it was the same size, physically, as my G27. And the G27 gave me 10+1 40cal, versus 5+1 45 in the XDS. And using the 7 rnd mag in the XDS didn't work for me.

I'm relatively big (6', 215#s). For carry, barrel length doesn't matter, width doesn't matter (so single stack doesn't buy me anything). Only dimension that matters is grip length. Sure, a hoody or jacket conceals a lot, but I want grip lengths that conceal under a light colored tee or polo.

We have constitutional open carry but not for conceal carry. Our school laws are STRICT. It's technically illegal to have guns on any school owned property (locked in your car). Assuming someone found out, you could potentially be charged with a misdemeanor or felony depending on circumstances.

Mine is 9mm. I've put several hundred rounds through mine and the only issue I had was a failure due to a faulty round (dented from the factory). I did end up installing a PRP trigger since the factory trigger was a little heavy. Not too heavy to shoot by any means, but I'm more accurate under a 5 lb pull. It gave it a crisp reset as well.

The only 45 I currently own is my 1911. My first carry gun was the OG Shield in 40 and that thing beat my wrists to death. I don't see myself owning another 40.

Do yourself a favor and shoot a Hellcat or a 365 with an optic. Both are priced well for what you get. My Hellcat is probably the best out of the box gun I have ever owned. Both are small enough to conceal. I carry in a Crossbreed at 11 o'clock (I am a lefty) and it works well. My buddy carries a 365 in an Alien Gear and he is 5'9 180lbs and conceals really well too.
Crossbreed all day long @ 3:30. With a G19 or a P320 carry. I probably didn’t train enough and got frustrated too quickly. But I found, in a competition, with an optic on a S&W Victory I was slower. I didn’t have the muscle memory down and wound up spending too long looking for the damn dot! But I couldn’t imagine just iron sights on any rifle anymore. Bracing it on the shoulder when you pull it up puts the dot right there. Again, probably just a need for more training, and patience learning, with it on a pistol.

Check out the Urban Carry G2 holster. I'm 5'10 170lb and I have been using it carry to a 1911 for a couple years!

Is that the one that looks like you're giving yourself a wedgie in the front when you draw?
