Shield EZ is the best IMO. My next choice would be a LC9S (what my wife carries). The EZ wasn't an option when we bought hers.

As for the XDI injectors, I've yet to actually see a SHO NEED them. But if you want to give a whirl I'll sell you a set cheapish. I have 3 sets in stock I'm tired of looking at.

I have not hit up Matt about fuel injectors yet, it was more an idea that’s been rattling around my mind while stuck in indoors. I just might take you up on a set of injectors.

Sounds like the catch can and meth are worth it. From what I understand these Ecoboost engine are known build a lot of carbon , is this due partially due to the oil blowback you mentioned?
I gotta get the wife’s Ex ST project going first though, shes determined to beat my SHO at the strip for her BDAY in April win win for me!

Idk how politicians do it, they have been supposedly taking guns away for 100years...and somehow they never succeed. It's almost as if it's just a scare tactic. I'll just pray them away.

We had some gun nuts that said God sent them and they blocked access to a right of way. They were arrested and released on bail. Kinda hoping they get more ballsy the next time, I'd hate to have to support them in jail.

I should have known better, and started stocking up on ammo BEFORE the Election, when it was normally priced. I did finally get myself an AR as a Christmas present, and the price on those is up a few hundred...... If you can find one!

I've just "bit the bullet", so to speak, and have been rounding out the ammo supply since New Year's, for about $3-$4k worth.

Yeah, the "new normal" is $1/round for 9mm FMJ range ammo, more for JHP...... If you can find any. Find 223/5.56 under $2/round? Buy it now!

I'm in good shape for FMJ (range) and JHP (carry) in 9mm & 40cal, as well as 223, and some 5.56. Along with FMJ 38 for my K6S 357 revolver.

Only thing I can't find anywhere, at any price, is 357 JHP. But, I keep looking almost daily across about 10 online sites I frequent.

My feeling is that ammo prices could get worse, before they get better. Especially if **** Joe and the *** institute CA-style controls on ammo. Availability may get better, but prices will stay the same, or rise, because of the quantity limitations.

Cracks me up when these Lib reporters talk about somebody who was found to have "1,000 rounds of Ammunition" in their house or car!

I, and the people I know, call that "Just enough for a day at the range"!

It's a combination of the oil blowby plus the fact that DI engines spray fuel directly into the combusion chamber as opposed to in the intake track like a standard combustion engine. Since fuel isn't running past the valves, there is nothing in line to clean them.

You are correct. Everyone went on an ammo run. I built a specific platform for my job with a uncommon at the time round before the plandemic thinking I would be good to go. Boy was I wrong lol.

I'm OK on most calibers. I'd like to come across some normally priced 9/45/380 but I'm not out by any means. So far I've refrained from buying any of the crazy priced ammo. I did pick up a Sig P365 at Bass Pro Shop pricing, but only because it was the only one I could find with a thumb safety.

As I took inventory I found some ammo I no longer need (40/38 SPL/7.62) and posted it on MeWe in hopes of trading for something I do need. Fingers crossed.

Good luck. I was looking for ammo about 12 months ago and my regular 2 stores were out of 9mm at the time. I mean none. I'm back in school so I don't have either time or money to shoot these days but I try to keep track of current rates/trends.

There was a group on MeWe I joined, and IIRC the name was something like Gun and Ammo Traders. It was very active, I got a lot of notifications daily. Then it disappeared. Figured it might have gotten taken down.

I was looking for another car group one day, and I was amazed at how many Groups are in MeWe. That seems to be where the action is at in MeWe.

The problem is at least 75% of the people on there seem to be price gougers. I could easily buy 1000+ rounds a day if I had the time and money. And those guys would be happy to sell it to me and then spend the night at Academy to buy up their next ammo delivery.

I’ve bought several guns on gunbroker.com but never ammo. The ones who leave it as an auction at least get what the market, or somebody desperate, is willing to pay. Some of the “buy now” numbers look high.

Wow! Just looked on there and 9mm is going for .75 - .85 a round. And the auction isn’t over. I’d had a good stockpile so I haven’t shopped in a while. Obviously it’s every bit as bad as I’ve heard. Also saw CCI 22LR for .25 a round.
