My splash guard is currently missing most of the screws that hold it on, and the ones that remain seem to be a random assortment of pointy screws, flat screws, and plastic plugs with a bunch of tape around them to fill the gap. Does anyone know the correct fastners? I'd like to get it secured on there properly. Thanks

If you're talking about the splash shield in the front wheel well, there should be three Phillips screws attaching it to the fender lip (two long, one short) 3-4 expanding plastic clips that attach it to the inner fender/unibody and a hex head (5.5mm?) screw attaching it to the ground effects on the rocker panel. There are also two more screws on the rocker panel end cap, but those hold the panel on and don't attach to the splash shield in the fender.

The plastic clips are these: http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Splash_Shield_Fascia_Retainers_p/pas1263-25.htm

They are also available at Autozone, Checker, Pep Boy, Kragen, pretty much any parts place.

If you want the screws, your best bet is to find someone locally that has a full set of the correct ones and check parts bins at a hardware store.

Go to a junkyard and pull the fasteners or all the splashguard contents off a Taurus. I just did this for my GenIII from a regular taurus for one of the front wheel areas.
