Passenger Side Center Vent - Blows Hot

So it's just the one vent that blows hot air, this occurs with or w/o the AC being on. It will switch off when thea defrost or floor is selected, any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

On the Taurus it's not too bad of a job. Somehow on the MKT it's REALLY challenging. I haven't had the pleasure of changing one on an MKS or a Flex yet to know if they're more like a Taurus or an MKT.

When I needed to change the one on the MKT I bought an aftermarket one (Dorman?) from the local parts store. When the one in my SHO failed I got one from the dealership since the parts store was out of stock. Interestingly, the price at the dealership was less (by $1 or $2) and they had multiple in stock.

I had hot air blowing out of both passenger vents, resorted to paying a local Ford dealer $225 to replace a relay in the dash. I wasn't in the mood. There's always some ******* thing going wrong in these cars. Right now I've got a clicking in the dash every time I hit the recirc button. Clicks for about 5 secs then stops. Like I said, always some ******* thing.... But the car has been reliable otherwise.

Your clicking is probably the actuator for the recirc flap.
