A friend who owns a Green 94 recently painted his Slicers with the Duplicolor gunmetal wheel paint. They look SWEET!

I think he just cleaned the wheels up real good then sprayed on several light coats.

Yeah, he said it was easy as ****. He got a little run on one of the rims, so he'll have to fix that, but otherwise they look really nice. He's working on getting new tires, so he didn't even bother to mask or remove the tires. But even up close, you can't tell.

Is he experienced? Not really.

I think he bought his paint at Advanced/Discount Auto, but I've seen it at Autozone too. It's Duplicolor wheel paint and comes in a couple colors.

I'll see if I can snag some pics.

thanks Kelvin. FYI - Auto-Zone carries Dupli-color engine enamel and Pep Boys carries Plasti-kote engine enamel. the Plasti-kote brand has a wider selection of engine enamel, and they offer Ford Blue ! (thats the color of my intake).

this weekend looks to be a rod bearing on friends car, exhaust work and wheel paint on my car.
