I was wondering if i got a white SHOforum decal if it could be painted? I have the factory color paint for my car, and would like to make it match. Would this work on the sticker, or would it just peel of the first time i wash my car? Thanks.

I think it would peel. A very thin coat from a spray can might hold up, but if you have base/clear, I think it will be too thick and will eventually crack and peel.

Why don't you ask for the decal but tell them not to weed it. Just cut the lettering out of the vinyl but leave it all attached and leave about 2" all the way around. (I assume you are going to apply it to your glass.) Then put the whole thing on the window and weed out lettering, then mask off the remaining and paint the glass directly. You can always razor blade it off in the future. Just a thought.
