Well, last night I did my summer/winter wheel swap at my friend's garage and painted my brake calipers at the same time.
I decided to go with 'hunter green' paint from Home Depot. The only other choices were black, brown, white, and yellow.
It wasn't too hard painting them at all. I just followed the instructions from Ron Porter on the v8sho.com email list and it went really well. I'll probably have to touch it up a little bit next spring when I do the wheel swap again, but for now it'll do fine.
If I ever get a digital camera, I'll take some pics. Now that I have the OEM wheels on you can't see the calipers as much as you can with my wide-open spoked 17s, but I think it still is a nice cosmetic touch.
Only cost me $10.52 for 3 disposable brushes, a can of lacquer thinner, and can of paint that I maybe used 1/100th of the paint in it.
