I covered all areas. I just covered the back ones up. Well I went out to make sure the ground was tight. SO I took it out and put it back in. When I was tightening it. THe SOB broke off. SO now I have half a bolt where the ground should be. SO can I go and just ground it to like the think they are called the dust boots? It just needs to be grounded to metal correct?

Like SeanMc and Freak SHO suggested ... all the paint is removed from the ground strap location and from behind the DIS module itself?

No, just means the cam sensor is hooked up. Did you disconnect any of the other plugs on the intake side next to the DIS? If so are those plugged in/completely?

Can you smell gas when you crank it over? Especially now that it has not started for a few tries.

Nah dont smell any gas.

The Ground Strap, well since a bolt decided to snap off I cant ground it where it is supposed to be. Does the ground strap HAVE to be grounded to the intake?

please verify that you have the firing order correct.

Also verify that you are getting spark.

Also verify that the intake is seated properly and check for vacuum lines that are disconnected.

Also check for fuel. extinguish all nearby sources of ignition (disconnect coil) and remove #4 plug. Have someone crank engine and look (smell) for a puff of fuel vapor every 4th revolution (half will go into exhaust and half will be pushed out the open spark plug hole). a flashlight shining from the side in poor lighting will help.

If you have fuel, spark and air, but the engine will still not start, then there is either a huge vacuum leak or bad firing order.
